Boardman HouseBoardman House Bed and Breakfast is an 1840 farmhouse constructed in the Greek Revival architectural style. It is a large white house with green shutters, like the other structures surrounding the Village Green in Townshend, Vermont USA, a town of 900 people. The inn sits next to the most photographed church in Vermont and is featured in many picture postcards.

All rooms adjoin modern bathrooms and several rooms overlook the historic Green. Guest rooms are uncluttered, and furnished in a Shaker style with bursts of color on the duvet covers and paintings.

The breakfast room and the front hall feature trompe l'oeil floors and the living room contains a large library. Breakfasts are gourmet and might offer individual soufflés and homemade muffins, or perhaps baked pear pancakes.

A well maintained barn is on the property and houses a sauna on the lower level. The lawn is bordered by several perennial gardens and there is space and equipment for croquet or badminton games.

Boardman House is in a prime foliage and antiquing area and is central to cross-country skiing and downhill skiing facilities.
